As a Business Improvement Specialist for Velocite Portia’s role is to identify and implement technology improvement projects to improve business processes, systems and practices. As a Technology advisor she provides strategic technology advice to the board of directors.
Portia is a Chartered Accountant who has a passion for digital enablement and lifelong learning. In 2021 she completed a Masters in Technological Futures through Tech Futures Lab, learning about emerging disruptive technology and how to help SMEs hyper automate processes prepare for the digital future. In 2022, she returned to study pursuing a Bachelor of Information Science through Massey University.
Outside of work: Portia and her husband also run a plastering company and are kept busy by their young daughter Olive and two labradoodles, Clifford and Lucy. They love a good renovation project and going on new adventures.
