Purpose of the role:
The Office Administrator is a key role at the heart of our administration function focusing on the smooth and efficient operation of the office. This role enables our team to be highly successful in their roles and ensures our clients and visitors have a professional and positive experience.
This role covers general office administration, database management, client administration, operations, health and safety, and technology.
Here’s a glimpse into a day as an Office Administrator at Velocite:
- Scan client records into the database that have been received overnight
- Place orders for office supplies and arrange catering for an upcoming meeting
- Meet with the Business Support Manager to run through operational tasks for the week ahead
- Contact clients to arrange their annual companies office documents to be completed and filed
- Head downstairs to grab a coffee with some of the team
- Update the health and safety register and provide a monthly report to the CEO
- Co-ordinate the renewal of our technology fleet
- Finalise the planning of our next team activity
- Dig into some sweet treats provided by the Directors, just because!
- Update our database with recent changes to some client information
- Contact clients to arrange and book meetings in
- Discuss team training requirements with our Client Fulfilment Manager

An ideal candidate for this position would:
- Be highly organised, proactive and a quick learner
- Maintain a high standard of work with strong attention to detail
- Be adaptable, flexible and able to problem solve and use initiative
- Have strong technology and digital skills
- Have amazing communication skills – both written and verbal – to interact with clients and team members
Experience in a similar role or within a professional services firm environment would be an advantage.
Experience with Xero, Asana, and Microsoft products would also be advantageous.
This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week and is an in-office position.
