Clay Jordan

Clay has been part of Velocite and predecessor firms since 2005.

Clay has a variety of clients with the majority being in rural accounting, the largest portion of his client base being involved in the dairy industry. He has worked with clients owning everything from beef cattle, sheep, goat and dairy cattle milking operations to even a worm farmer.

Clay has a particular interest in GST and income tax treatment of various aspects of rural accounting, livestock valuations as well as cashflow forecasting and effective tax planning.

Succession planning is also becoming an important part of advising his clients.

Outside of work…

With a keen interest in sport, Clay is a self-confessed golf nut and can be found on his home course, Kaitake Golf Club, pretty much every Saturday afternoon (and often a Sunday too). Clay has been president for the club for the last four years.
