Once we have set your annual business plan and have a clear understanding of what you’re aiming to achieve in the next 12 months we will help you to create a practical budget aligned to your goals. We believe that a budget is a key element of your annual roadmap and, rather than being used to simply track past performance, is vital in planning your way to achieving your business and personal goals.
We utilise budgets that incorporate your business goals, account for enablers that will support you in achieving them and are clear in providing actionable targets for you and your team to strive toward throughout the year.
Our Budgeting Process is designed to improve your (or your teams) capability, involves input from yourself (either through active discussions or learning to own the budgeting process yourself – tailored to suit your business needs) and will be utilised to test and challenge your assumptions about your business and performance expectations to ensure it not only pushes you to achieve your goals, but is also grounded in reality.
We will also help you to understand “where the cash goes” to ensure that you can make good decisions. Our Budgeting and Where Does Cash Go Analysis service will give you the insights you need to manage your finances effectively and keep your business on a strong financial footing.
How We Work
Our services are delivered in structured packages designed to provide the best outcomes for your business. We start with an intensive 3-month – 6-month planning phase (depending on the size and complexity of your business), creating a strong foundation for your business’s future direction and helping you focus on your key objectives. Following this initial phase, we can provide ongoing support as needed to ensure successful execution of your strategic plan and business plan, creating accountability to keep you focused.
At a minimum, our Planning Package will include Strategic Planning, Annual Business Planning, a Budget and one Accountability Meeting over a 12-month period. The delivery of our services typically involve a mixture of in-person* meetings, emails, phone and online calls.
*Online meetings can be utilised if better suited to your needs particularly if you are based outside of the Taranaki Region
Financial and Time Commitments
Our Strategic Planning Packages start from $7,000 + GST and require a minimum commitment of two planning workshops and one Accountability Meeting over a 12-month period.
